Setting the Menu
Example: In the [REC] menu, change [AF MODE] from [Ø] (1-area-focusing) to
[š] (Face Detection)

¢ When the focus selector switch is set to [AF] in Programme AE Mode.
Press [MENU/SET].
∫ Close the menu
Press [MENU/SET] or press the shutter button halfway.
∫ Switching to other menus
e.g.: Switching to the [SETUP] menu from [REC] Mode menu
1 Press [MENU/SET].
2 Press 2.
3 Press 4 or rotate the rear dial to select the
[SETUP] menu icon [ ].
4 Press 1 or the rear dial.

Select a menu item next and set it.
Press 3/4 or rotate the rear dial to select
the menu item.
Press 1 or the rear dial.
• Depending on the menu item, its setting may not appear or it may be
displayed in a different way.
Press 3/4 or rotate the rear dial to select
the settings.
Press [MENU/SET] or the rear dial to set.
