  If your Panasonic DVD Player isn't responding to button presses, the remote, or isn't showing picture or sound, and you need to reset the ratings password, try these steps: 1. Power cycle the unit: turn it off and then back on. If that doesn't work, turn it off, disconnect the AC power cord, and then reconnect it. 2. If condensation has formed inside, wait 1 to 2 hours for it to evaporate. 3. If the remote isn't working, replace the batteries with new ones. 4. To reset all settings to factory defaults (including the password), press and hold the [QUICK OSD] and [;] buttons on the unit, then press and hold the [

Why does my Panasonic DVD-S29 have no power?

  If your Panasonic DVD Player has no power and switches to standby mode automatically, ensure the AC power cord is securely inserted into the wall socket. Also, if the “Auto Power Off” setting is enabled, the unit will automatically switch to standby after about 30 minutes in stop mode.
