Setting the keyguard
The keyguard stops the keypad being accessed.
Select Keyguard.
You are asked ‘Guard Keypad?’. Press Q.
You can also set the keyguard directly from the idle screen:
Press and hold down Q.
Select Keyguard.
You are asked ‘Guard Keypad?’. Press Q.
To turn off the keyguard:
From idle mode press Q.
You are asked ‘Free Keypad?’. Press Q.
Changing the key volume
The key volume is the volume of the tone made when you press a key.
Select Key Volume.
Use e to move the volume level between 0 and 4.
Changing the key tone
The key tone is the sound made when you press a key.
Select Key Tone.
Select the tone you want.
Choosing the key to use for the answer key
You can choose whether to use any key (except E, Q, g ) or just the send key (D) to
answer a call.
Select Answer Key.
Select Any Key or Send Key.
Note: When the keyguard is on, you must turn it off before you can use the phone.
