The Panasonic F-VXR50A is a humidifying air purifier designed to provide moist and clean air. It integrates several advanced technologies to achieve this:

Mega Catcher: This feature enables the front panel to open wide when the sensor detects dirt in the air, allowing for strong absorption of pollutants through optimized airflow.
nanoe® Technology: The device is equipped with nanoe® technology, which generates microparticle ions wrapped in water. This technology is claimed to achieve effects such as sterilization, allergen inhibition, fungi elimination, and deodorization, contributing to a conducive environment for hydrated skin.
- Sterilization: Tested to eliminate 99% or more of airborne fungi in a 25 m³ closed space within 4 hours, and 99% or more of adhered bacteria in a 23 m³ closed space within 8 hours.
- Allergen Inhibition: Tested to inhibit 88% or more of pollen allergens adhered to fabric in a 23 m³ closed space within 8 hours.

Usage Features

Placement: Recommended to be placed on the floor, at least 30 cm away from walls, furniture, or curtains on the left, right, and top sides for effective air circulation, especially for capturing pollen and dust. The back should be at least 1 cm from the wall.
Operation Modes:
- Full Auto: Automatically purifies air and adjusts humidity based on pollution and humidity levels. Airflow and volume are automatically controlled.
- Clean Air: Purifies air without humidification (unless water is in the tank, in which case slight humidification occurs). Airflow and volume can be manually specified.
- Clean/Humid: Humidifies and purifies air simultaneously. Requires water in the tank. Airflow and volume can be manually specified.
Airflow and Air Volume Control: Users can select different airflow directions (Auto Dir., Dust, Odor/Smoke) and air volumes (Auto Vol., Hi, Med, Lo) to target specific types of pollution or achieve desired operating noise levels.
Spot Air Mode: Allows for targeted airflow in "Swing" or "Spot" modes.
Child Lock: Prevents children from playing with the controls. Activated by pressing and holding the Child Lock button for 3 seconds.

Maintenance Features

Power Disconnection: Always disconnect the power supply before maintenance or filling water.
Deodorizing Filter:
- No maintenance required.
- Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner when present.
- Do not wash with water.
HEPA Composite Filter:
- Clean the black (front) side with a vacuum cleaner approximately once every 2 weeks.
- Do not apply too much pressure to avoid damage.
- Maintenance is not necessary for the white (back) side.
- Do not wash with water.
- Replacement recommended approximately once every 10 years (based on daily smoking of 6 cigarettes).
Dirt Sensor:
- Wipe the lens with a dry cotton swab approximately once every 3 months.
- Remove the external cover of the dirt sensor before cleaning.
- Do not insert the cotton swab anywhere other than the lens.
Tank:
- Wash with water daily.
- For hard stains, wipe with a soft cloth moistened in warm water or water containing neutral detergent for kitchen use.
- Replace water with new tap water every day.
Tray:
- Clean approximately once a month.
- Remove the anti-fungus assembly.
- Wash with a swab or toothbrush.
- Do not remove the floater.
- For hard stains, wipe with a soft cloth moistened in warm water or water containing neutral detergent for kitchen use.
Anti-fungus Assembly:
- Clean approximately once a month.
- Immerse in kitchen-purpose neutral detergent solution in warm water for about 30 minutes, then rinse 2-3 times with clean water.
- Do not scrub with a brush or disassemble.
- The anti-fungus agent inhibits mold bacteria. It may show powder or decrease in size over time, which is normal. It has a special, harmless smell.
Humidifying Filter Assembly (Humidifying Filter, Filter Frame, Filter Plate):
- Clean approximately once a month.
- Removal: Remove six hooks from the filter frame.
- Washing: Press and wash the humidifying filter with clean warm water. Do not scrub with a brush, wash in a machine, or dry with a drier. Wash the filter frame and filter plate with water. For hard stains, immerse in warm water with neutral detergent or citric acid solution (20g citric acid to 3L warm water) for about 30 minutes, then scrub and rinse. Use neutral detergent only.
- Reassembly: Attach the humidifying filter onto the filter frame, ensuring it does not protrude or rumple. Embed the filter plate into the six hooks, aligning protrusions with indentions.
- Replacement recommended approximately once every 10 years (based on 8 hours of daily operation).
Long-term Storage:
- Disconnect power plug.
- Empty and clean the tank and tray completely, drying their interiors to prevent rust.
- Dry the humidifying filter assembly in a cool place.
- Cover with a poly bag and store in a low-moisture place, keeping it flat to prevent malfunction.
