FADE OUT Effect

Press the Fade-in/out Button (43) while VTR is recording.
The letter F is displayed in the viewfinder.
Press the VTR Start/Pause Button (55) for ending VTR
record,
The picture in the recording gradually disappears (fade out)
as the picture in the viewfinder also gradually disappears.
When the picture in the viewfinder disappears, VTR ends
the recording and stops, and the picture again appears
automatically for the next fade in effect,
The audio sound is also simultaneously performed with the
picture fade out. When the fade out effect is completed,
the blinking REC and letter F disappear.
Note: (1) VTR Start/Pause Button is disabled during
the fade in/out effect (blinking F is dis-
played.),
This prevents abrupt picture change during
the fade in/out effect by misoperation of the
VTR Start/Pause Button.
(2) If the Fade-in/out button is pressed again
before pressing the. VTR Start/Pause Button,
the fade condition is defeated.
(3) The fade function is inoperable when the
RCU is used.
