This phone automatically replies with its location
information when it receives an SMS message starting
with “#GPS#” from designated contacts.
Before using this feature, you need to activate
“Positioning” (page 63) and “External
Request” (page 63) and assign phone numbers (5
numbers max.) to the authorised automatic reply list.
The SMS message replies with the following information:
– The URL of the location
– Latitude and longitude
– The date and time of where the phone is located.
How to send the phone location with an SMS message
1 Send a location request SMS message to this phone,
starting with “#GPS#”, from a phone number assigned
to the authorised automatic reply list.
2 This phone automatically sends its location
information by an SMS message when a location
request SMS message is received.
Note:
R “GPS” must be capitalised.
