CFCs have been used in refrigerant as refrigerator and the insulation materials for many years. But it
is now known that these compounds which once seemed so ideal for use as cleaning agents and in
refrigeration systems, destroy the earth’s ozone layer as a result, an international body decided on a
total worldwide ban of harmful CFCs by the end of 1995.

Why is my Panasonic Refrigerator not cooling but the compressor is not operating?
    • A
      Alexis MillerAug 18, 2025
If your Panasonic Refrigerator isn't cooling, a potential cause might be a defective control PCB. Check if a fuse is blown or if there are defects in components like the IC or diode. Also, check PC door switch. If the “ECONAVI Led” turn off and “Quick Freezing” blinking, the cause may be Defect of FC fan motor, Poor connection between FC fan motor and IC 1 on PCB, Defect of FC door SW., Defect of damper. If the “ECONAVI Led” turn off and “Quick Freezing” turn on, the cause may be Break of FCC thermistor, Poor connection between FCC thermistor and IC 1 on PCB, Abnormal of spec of DFC thermistor, Resistor of thermistor is bigger as like as 5.9 - 6.5 K at 0°C.

      Rachel AndrewsAug 28, 2025
If your Panasonic Refrigerator isn't cooling, and the compressor isn't operating, it could be due to a break in the FC thermistor. In this case, the “ECONAVI Led” turn on and “Quick Freezing” will be blinking. Check the FC thermistor for continuity and proper function.

      Jonathan MackNov 8, 2025
If your Panasonic Refrigerator isn't cooling in either the PC or FC (compressor not operating), start by checking the power supply. Ensure the power cord is properly connected and inspect the ELCB. Also, the issue might be a defect of the overload relay, which could cause a fuse to blow. If the “ECONAVI Led” and “Quick Freezing” blink, the cause may be Compressor lock, Leakage, Droping voltage of power supply, Rising voltage of power supply, Short of DFC thermistor, Poor connection between DFC thermistor and IC 1 on PCB, Break of DFC thermistor, Defect of PCB as like as defect of relay, etc., Termal fuse blows, Abnormal of spec of DFC thermistor, When resistor of thermistor is bigger as like as 6.1 - 6.7K at 0°C, there is some case to blow thermal fuse out due to becoming defrost time long...
