You can gradually zoom in for close ups or
zoom out for wide angle shots.
The zooming speed ranges from a slow
speed of 16 seconds to a fast 2 seconds
according to lhe pressure applied to lhe
zoom buttons.
Zoom In ("T")
Zoom Out ("W")
Zoom slowly by lightly pressing the "T"
(Telephoto) or the "W" (Wide Angle) side
of the POWER ZOOM switch,
Zoom quickly by apptying more pressure.
* The magnificati'on level is displayed in the
EVF.
This feature allows you to make smoother scene transitions for a professional look.
Fade In:
FADE ,,_ Starting the first scene with "fade in" is
very effective.
Press FADE in Record/Pause mode
so that "FADE" flashes in the EVF.
Press RECORD/PAUSE to start
recording. The picture and sound fade
out, and then witl gradually fade in.
Fade Out:
Use to create a soft ending or, when used
together with fade in, a soft transition from
one scene to the next.
Press FADE so that "FADE" flashes in
the EVF while recording.
Press RECORD/PAUSE to pause
recording. The picture and sound
gradually fade out.
If FADE is accidentally pressed, press
again so that "FADE" disappears in the
EVF.
