take the measurement by pushing the head down-
ward with the tension gauge.

LINE OUT
1. Connect the LINE OUT cords to the VTVM.
2. Place the set into the mode of program 1.
3. Play either a test tape QZZVTT804 or re
corded music tape.
4 Turn head height adjustment screw counter-
clockwise to raise head to highest position.
5. Next, turn head height adjustment screw clock-
wise, gradually lowering head, and stopping
where first sound heard is at maximum level.
