(7) TRACKING BALANCE ADJUSTMENT
1. Set the “FREQUENCY” dial of the servo gain ad-
juster’s to “1,000” the “RANGE” selector to “x1”
and the “OSC LEVEL” control to 0.15” (1 kHz,
150 mVp-p).
. Connect the hot lead of the oscilloscope’s CH. :
probe to [faraek] (RF) and the cold lead to Feyaend
(V-REF).

probe to TP1 on the servo gain adjuster.
Oscilloscope setting:
LT 100 mV (CH. 1)
Input coupling AC (both CH. 1 and 2)
Trigger mode NORM (trigger CH. 2)
. Play track 1 (1 kHz) on the test disc (SZZP1054C).
. Set the “MODE SELECTOR” switch of the servo
gain adjuster to position “1”.
. The waveform as shown at right will appear on the
RX-DS45
