Why is the display dark on my Panasonic SC-HT920?
    • K
      Kenneth CastilloAug 25, 2025
If you're experiencing a dark display on your Panasonic Home Cinema speakers with messages like “NO PLAY,” “NO DISC,” “F61,” “DVD U11,” “ERROR,” or “DVD H??” (where ?? is a number), first, select “Bright” in “FL Dimmer” located in the “Others” tab of the settings. Ensure you've inserted a disc that the unit can play and that the disc isn't blank. If there is no disc inserted, insert one correctly. If the disc is dirty, wipe it clean. Also, check and correct the speaker cord connections. If this doesn't solve the problem, there may be a power supply issue, and you should consult your dealer. If the problem still persists, turn the unit off and then back on.

How to fix picture distortion on Panasonic SC-HT920 Home Cinema speakers?
    • J
      Jennifer HaydenNov 26, 2025
If you're having trouble with picture distortion, the picture size not fitting the screen, the menu not displaying correctly, auto zoom issues, or the picture disappearing or showing stripes on your Panasonic Home Cinema speakers, ensure the unit is connected directly to the television and not through a video cassette recorder. Try changing the “TV Aspect” in the “Video” tab or using the television to adjust the aspect ratio. You can also try changing the Zoom setting or restoring the zoom ratio to 1.00. If you are playing PAL system DVD-Audio, set “Subtitle Position” in the Display Menu to “0”. Set “4:3 Aspect” in the Display Menu to “Normal”. Turn off the TV’s zoom function. Use the other preset aspect ratios or manual adjustment. If you are using a TV indoor antenna, change to an outdoo...
