You can refine the sound quality to suit the placement of
your speakers when listening to stereo sources.
Press [FI MODE].
BI-AMP TS:
ON: The amplifiers for the front and surround
speakers separately run the low frequency and
mid to high frequency. This reduces distortions and
produce a more open and cleaner sound. Use this
mode when surround speakers are stacked up (

Speaker installation options, page 7) or placed
beside front speakers.
OFF : Cancel
SUBWOOFER:
ON (-5 to +5)
OFF: Cancel (When Bi-Amp TS is off, this is only
available for 2-channel sources.)
CENTER: Adjustable only when Bi-Amp TS is on.
ON (-5 to +5)
OFF: Cancel
PARTY: Adjustable only when Bi-Amp TS is off.
STEREO: Front and surround speakers produce
stereo source.
MONO: Center, front and surround speakers
produce same sound source.
OFF: Cancel

when headphones are used.

After you select a setting, press [

The changes you make are stored and automatically
recalled the next time you select “MANUAL EQ”.

H.BASS
ON: You can enhance low-frequency sound so that
heavy bass sound can be heard clearly, even if the
acoustics of your room are not optimal.
OFF: Cancel
HEAVY : Adds punch to rock.
CLEAR : Clarifies higher sounds.
SOFT : For background music.
EQ-OFF : Cancel (no effect is added).
