Function Description

The Pandora Professional v3 offers comprehensive security and service functions. It includes a built-in LTE module (4G LTE/3G/2G | GPS/GLONASS) for connection to the pandora-on.com online service and mobile application, allowing control via DTMF commands, voice, SMS notifications, and precise GPS location with tracking. The system also features an 868MHz antenna with LoRa modulation for secure communication with up to 4 remote controls, and a 2.4 GHz radio channel with Bluetooth 5.0 protocol (BT5.0) for connecting up to 14 additional Bluetooth devices, including mobile phones.

A built-in 3D accelerometer detects shock, motion, and tilt, with two separate zones for alarm and warning, allowing sensitivity adjustment. Temperature sensors measure interior, engine, and outside temperatures, enabling automatic engine start/stop and control of engine preheaters based on temperature conditions. Digital 2xCAN/LIN interfaces allow reading status and executing commands via digital buses, and working with Webasto Thermo Top Evo and Eberspaecher Hydronic preheaters. The built-in digital IMMO-KEY port and Immobiliser bypass, with Pandora CLONE server algorithms, facilitate bypassing original immobilisers for automatic and remote engine starts. A micro-USB port is available for system updates and configuration using the Pandora Specialist application and Pandora Alarm Studio.

System Functions and Modes

Security Mode: The system monitors security zones with separate warning and alarm levels. Warning mode activates with a slight impact, while alarm mode activates with a significant impact. The system records events, informs the owner, blocks the engine, and can produce sound and light warnings.
Controlled and Security Zones: Monitors interior, engine, and outside temperatures, voltage, RPM, fuel level, parking status, shock, motion, and tilt sensors, OE alarm system, additional sensors, ignition, doors, hood, trunk, and brake pedal.
Remote and Automatic Engine Starts: Allows remote engine start via remote control or preconfigured automatic start functions for heating/cooling the interior, charging the battery. Automatic starts can be configured based on schedule, time period, engine temperature, or voltage.
Slave Mode: Enables arming/disarming using the vehicle's factory key fob, buttons/sensors of a keyless access entry system. It can be implemented via analog connections or a digital protocol.
Owner Authorization Devices and Modes: Bluetooth devices (radio tags, remote controls, mobile phones, bands) are used for owner recognition, arming/disarming (Hands Free mode), and implementing Immobiliser or Anti-Hi-Jack functions.
Anti-Hi-Jack Modes: Prevents vehicle seizure if authorization devices disappear from the radio coverage zone when the system is disarmed.
Code Immobiliser (PIN to Drive): Uses a pre-programmed PIN-code entered via factory vehicle controls or installed elements to disable engine blocking, activate service mode, or disarm the security system.
Beach Mode: Allows arming/disarming using a pre-programmed PIN-code entered via factory vehicle controls or installed elements.

Control over the System by Phone

The system can be controlled via DTMF commands, voice, and SMS notifications. Functions include enabling/disabling automatic engine starts, requesting current coordinates, checking GSM balance, activating/deactivating tow truck mode, and engine blocking. Settings can also be changed via phone.

Online Service and Mobile Application

The Pandora Connect mobile app (iOS/Android) and the pandora-on.com web service allow full control and monitoring of the system. Users can register, log in, add systems to their account, and write mobile devices to the system memory.

Control over the System in Case of Emergency

Emergency disarming/Beach mode deactivation is possible by entering the "Secret PIN-code" using the VALET button. Emergency control of anti-theft functions allows temporary or permanent deactivation of Immobiliser and Code Immobiliser functions.

Blocking radio relay BTR-101: Wireless device for engine blocking. Features 2.4GHz (BLE 4.2) radio interface, built-in blocking relay (NC), motion sensor, IP54.
Radio module RHM-03 BT: Controls engine compartment equipment (hood lock, siren, engine blocking, pre-heaters). Features 2.4GHZ radio interface (BLE 4.2), built-in relay (NC), motion sensors, hood switch input, external temperature sensor, outputs for siren/hood lock, engine pre-heaters control (LIN), IP65.
Piezo siren PS-331 BT: Sound indication and control of engine compartment. Features control connection with base unit, temperature sensor, "Hood" security zone, sound pressure 105-118 dB, 2.4GHz (BLE 4.2) radio interface, programmable input "Hood", programmable output, temperature sensor, IP65.

Usage Features

Remote Control Menu: Allows managing settings and parameters of the system. Includes menus for CAR STATE (battery, engine, interior, fuel), HEATER (enabling/disabling preheater), SETTINGS (sound, vibro, backlight, RFM LOST), AUTOSTART, SENSORS, TRACKING, SIREN, HANDS FREE, CHANNELS, GPS RECEIVER, GSM MODEM, VALET MODE, and INFORMATION.
Quick Access Functions: Various functions accessible via short or long presses of remote control buttons, depending on ignition status and system armed state.
Diagnostic Mode: Used for initial testing of the remote control, displaying button presses, sound, vibration, and SEND/ALARM indicator.

Maintenance Features

Battery Replacement (Remote Control): Move aside the battery cover, remove the battery, observe polarity, insert a new one, close the battery cover.
Installation Certificate: Professional installer certifies installation according to manuals and schemes.
Acceptance Certificate: Confirms conformity with Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive EMC 2004/108/EC and R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC.
Warranty Card: Provides warranty information.

Important Notes

The SIM-card can be changed, but settings should be performed by a qualified specialist.
For correct GSM functions, monitor the SIM card status/balance.
Erase protective layers carefully to avoid damaging hidden information.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the interface and functionality of the internet service and mobile application without notifying the consumer.
Automatic engine starts and stops by temperature are available only if engine temperature data is available or an external sensor is connected.
Remote and automatic engine starts are not available if the hood is open.
After three unsuccessful attempts of automatic start, all following automatic starts will be canceled until disarming/arming.
Remote engine start by an original key does not require additional settings.
The preheater switching on and off by temperature is only possible when the engine temperature sensor is connected.
