Installation
Mounting
The unit may be placed on a solid surface or mounted in a standard 19" rack using the optional mounting hardware.
The unit should be mounted at approximately eye level for best visual observation of the LCD video monitor display
although the display screen does offer exceptional off-axis viewing.
Heat Dissipation
No special physical mounting considerations are necessary regarding unit heat dissipation except under adverse
conditions, provided the ambient temperature inside the mounting enclosure does not exceed 40 degrees Celsius
(104 degrees Fahrenheit). Adjacent devices can be rack mounted (or stacked) in proximity to the unit. If the above
temperature is exceeded, allow a 1RU (1.75”/44.45mm) space above and below the unit for air circulation.
AC Power
The units AC mains connection is via a 3-pin IEC320-14 connector inlet, with safety ground connected directly to
the unit's chassis. The universal AC input (100-240VAC, 50/60Hz) switching power supply is a self-resetting sealed
type, with automatic over-voltage and over-current shutdown. There is no user-replaceable fuse in either the primary
or secondary circuit.
DC Power
The units DC connection is via a 4-pin male XLR connector inlet. The DC input accepts 24VDC power from an
external power source.
