6. MAINTENANCE
Electric pumps do not require any special maintenance. However, we advise you to empty the pump body
during cold periods or in the event of prolonged down-time. If the down-time persists, clean the pump and
store it in a dry, ventilated place.
7. TROUBLESHOOTING
Before you begin troubleshooting, cut electrical power to the pump by unplugging it.
Troubles
Causes
Remedies
Motor not starting to run.
- Pump locked
-Incorrect voltage
- fuse or thermal breaker
disconnected
-Dismantle the pump and contact
your dealer
-Check if the voltage is the same
as that shown on the technical
specifications plate
-Change the fuse or connect the
thermal breaker
The motor stops and then starts
automatically
- Monometric height either total or
greater than specified
-Water level in well has dropped
-Foot valve not immersed
- You have forgotten to prime the
pump
-Air has entered
-Adjust geometric height and load
loss
-Change suction height
-Immerse the suction pipe
adequately
-Fill pump body with water
-Seal the unions perfectly
Motor runs but does not supply
pressure
Motor runs but does not supply

- Water level dropped in well
-Worn turbines
-Foot valve not immersed

-Immerse the suction pipe

- Obstructed fans
- Clean it or replace it with another
-Adjust geometric height and load

-Change suction height
-Dismantle the pump and contact
your dealer

Motor overheating
-Incorrect voltage
-Room poorly ventilated
-Check if the voltage is the same
as that shown on the technical
specifications plate
-Arrange good ventilation
