Programming steps to the PARADOX MG5050 Control panel
working in conjunction to RDC transmitters.
Connecting the transmitter to the panel:
Connect the R (RING) wire to the transmitter negative. Connect the T (TIP) wire to the transmitter CID
connection. Power the transmitter directly from the battery.
Entering programming:
Press ENTER 0 0 0 0 (This is the default code)
Programming the communicator:
The keypad expects a 3-digit section number
Press 800 Programming of the communicator options
Ensure 1, 2, 5, 6 is on
1 is TLM trouble
2 is TLM reporting
5 is Tone dial
6 is force dial
Press 801 Program reporting options
Ensure 1 is off and 2 is on
1 off - Always report disarming
2 on - Zone restoral reports on zone closure
Press 802 Program reporting options
Ensure 1 and 5 is on
1 on Report Arm/disarm on MSTN 1
5 on Report Alarms/restores on MSTN 1
Press 803 Program reporting options
Ensure 1 is on
1 on Report Tamper/restores on MSTN 1
Press 804 Program reporting options
Ensure 1 is on
1 on Special reporting on MSTN 1
Press 838 Closing delay to be 000 seconds
Press 851 Armed report delay (default is 5min)
Set it to 001 for 1min
