4.1 Maintenance Procedures
• Rotate and remove the tube lids (1 & 2) to gain
access to the carbon bags.
• Remove the old carbon bags and pre-filters (3) from
the unit and dispose in accordance with local
legislation.
Note: We recommend the use of gloves when
handling the carbon bags.
• Remove the new carbon bags from their packaging.
• Soak the carbon bags in water, agitating frequently to
remove air bubbles and accumulated dust.
• Rinse the carbon bag under a cold tap.
• Roll the carbon bags between your hands to ease
insertion into the carbon tubes.
• Insert the pre-filter into the carbon tubes.
• Re-fit the tube lids ensuring they are locked into
position.
• Fill the unit with clean water - Refer to section 3.2
“Filling the unit” on page 4.
• Empty oil container in accordance with local
legislation.
