CHAINSAW GEARBOX LUBRICATION
FITTING THE CHAIN, BAR & TENSIONING CHAIN
Turn the chain tension adjustment screw
clockwise until the chain pulls tight on the
bottom of the bar.
When correctly adjusted it should be
possible manually run the chain around the
bar and pull one complete chain link clear
of the groove.
NOTE: Inspect and adjust the chain regularly until the initial stretch has been taken out.
WARNING! Take care when handling the chain as it is sharp. Use appropriate safety gloves to prevent injury.
NOTE: When the chain begins to wear, the cutting performance will reduce. Sharpen or replace it with an identical one.
Once satisfied with the chain tension
tighten the 10mm nut securely using the
spanner provided within the tool kit.

SECURE SPROCKET COVER
The components within the gearbox have to work
very hard and as a result MUST remain well
lubricated at all times. Before or after each use.
Connect a compatible grease gun to the chainsaw
gearbox assembly's grease nipple.
Pump gearbox grease into the grease nipple.
Use a general purpose gearbox grease.
