STARTING THE ENGINE

PRIME THE CARBURETTOR

FILL THE TANK
Remove the fuel cap and fill the tank to no more
than 80% capacity.
Fuel should be a mixture of unleaded petrol and 2
stroke oil mixed at a ratio of 40:1.
Prime the carburettor by repeatedly pressing the
bulb located underneath the air filter housing.
The fuel cap must be secure and tight for the
carburettor to prime.

CLOSE CHOKE (COLD START)

OPEN CHOKE (WARM START)
For cold engine starts close the choke by sliding
the lever upwards.
For warm engine starts open the choke by sliding
the lever downwards.

CHOKE CLOSED CHOKE OPEN
WARNING: The product is equipped with centrifugal clutch mechanism, so the cutting attachment
begins to rotate as soon as the speed of the engine is increased.
WARNING: Fuel is highly flammable and care must be taken to avoid any spillages and contact with
naked flames.
