When starting a cold engine, press down the

WARNING! Using the primer too many times may cause the engine to flood. When starting a warm engine, the primer does not need
to be used. If the engine stops due to a lack of petrol, refill and press down the primer 3-5 times.
SECURING THE STARTER ROPE
Stand behind the mower, pull the engine Start/Stop lever
toward the upper handle. Place your other hand on the
starter handle, pull the starter handle out approx.
10-15cm until you feel a resistance and then start the
Engine with a sharp pull.
Once the engine is running, put the starter rope Into the
rope guide
NOTE: If the engine fails to start after three pulls, repeat the process.
NOTE: If the engine won’t start after you have operated the starter several times, the engine may
be flooded with excess fuel.

Before attempting to start the engine set the deck
height to the highest setting. This will prevent the
blade from catching on any uneven ground and
make the machine much easier to start.
