Unload the pressure port and system before starting, and bleed air from the pressure line if the pressure line/system cannot bleed air out.

If dealing with a dynamic critical system, such as a pressure compensator combined with a pressure reducing valve, use a remote pressure compensator instead of a standard one, and install an orifice in the load sensing line remote from the compensator, as close as possible to the load sensing valve.

Also, ensure that the pump outlet pressure is at least 15 bar, as the bias spring in the pump cannot be compressed otherwise.
