If dealing with a dynamic critical system, such as a pressure compensator combined with a pressure reducing valve, use a remote pressure compensator instead of a standard one, and install an orifice in the load sensing line remote from the compensator, as close as possible to the load sensing valve.

Confirm that the load sensing line is connected downstream (actuator side) of the load sensing valve. Also, ensure that the pump outlet pressure is at least 15 bar, as the bias spring in the pump cannot be compressed otherwise.
