are only exempt for use when fitted with a smoke control kit (ECIC04ARRT020 – Aspect 4’s/ECIC05ARRT020 – Aspect
5’s) (ECIR05ARRT020 – Aspect 6. Without the kit fitted the appliance is not an exempt appliance and so may leave the
householder liable for a fine up to £1000.
