3. Fill the fuel tank with fuel.
To allow for expansion of
the fuel, do not fill above
the bottom of the fuel tank
neck.
4. Wipe off any fuel residues
and reinstall the fuel tank
cap (11).

Warning! Improper use
of battery and charger
can result in an electrical
shock and fire.
Warning! Keep battery
charger and pack dry.
Avoid exposing battery
pack and charger to
rain or wet conditions.
Warning! To reduce the
risk of electrical shock,
do not allow water to
flow into AC plug.
1. Connect battery charger
(35) to electrical outlet.
2. Before charging the
battery, first remove the
safety sticker.
3. Slide the electric starter
battery (9) into the battery
charger bay until it locks
with an audible "click".
4. Understand the status
LEDs:
•
Red light (45a) - battery
pack is charging
normally
•
Green light (45b) - battery
pack is fully
charged
•
Flashing red light (45a)
- battery pack is either
too hot or cold and will
not accept a charge.
Charging will begin
automatically once
battery has cooled down
to acceptable levels. We
recommend protecting
the charger from direct
sunlight and other heat
sources.

Flashing red (45a) and
green lights (45b) -
Charging error. Please
disconnect and try again.
