10. Maintain your compressor with care.
Ensure your compressor is kept clean to maintain efficient and safe operation.
Keep the handle, kettle and housing dry, clean and free of oil.
Follow the maintenance instructions.
Check the compressor’s connecting cable and plug regularly and have them replaced by the manufacturer or its after-sales service if they are damaged.
Check the extension cable regularly and replace it if it is damaged.
11. Unplug the mains plug.
Disconnect the compressor from the power supply before maintenance/cleaning and when replacing air tools.
12. Avoid starting up the unit unintentionally.
Make sure that the compressor is switched off when you insert the plug into the socket.
13. Use extension cables when working outdoors.
Only use extension cables that are also suitable for outdoor use.
14. Be attentive.
Pay attention to what you are doing. Approach your work with common sense. Do not use the compressor if you are tired or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medication. A single moment of carelessness when using the compressor can result in serious injury.
15. Check the compressor for possible damage.
Before each use of the compressor, protective devices or slightly damaged parts must be carefully checked to ensure that they are in proper working order.
Check whether any moving parts are working properly and are not jammed or whether any parts are damaged. All parts must be correctly assembled and
meet the necessary requirements to ensure proper operation of the compressor.
Damaged protective devices and parts must be properly repaired or replaced by an authorised specialist workshop, unless otherwise stated in these oper-
ating instructions.
Damaged switches must be replaced by customer service. Do not use a compressor with a faulty switch.
Operating a compressor with a switch that cannot be turned on and off is dangerous.
16. WARNING!
Only use the compressor, accessories, air tools, etc. in accordance with these instructions or as recommended or specified by the manufacturer. The use of
the compressor or its accessories for applications other than those for which they are intended may lead to hazardous situations.
17. Only qualified personnel should be permitted to repair your power tool, and only original spare parts should be used.
This compressor complies with all relevant safety regulations. Repairs may only be carried out by a qualified electrician. This ensures that the compressor’s
operational safety is preserved.
18. Noise (sound emissions).
Wear hearing protection while using the compressor. Exposure to noise can cause a loss of hearing.
19. Replacing the connection cable.
If the mains power cable of this device is damaged, it must be replaced with a special connection cable available from the manufacturer or its after-sales
service.
Damaged or tangled connecting cables increase the risk of electric shock.
2.1 Additional safety instructions for pneumatic machines
Compressed air can cause serious injury:
When the machine is not in use, before replacing accessories or when carrying out repair work, always shut off the air supply, depressurise the air hose
and disconnect the machine from the compressed air supply.
Never direct the airflow towards yourself or other people / animals.
Flapping hoses can cause serious injury. Therefore, always check that the hoses and their fasteners are undamaged or have not come loose.
Direct cold air away from the hands.
Make sure that the maximum pressure specified on the machine is not exceeded.
Never pull the compressor by its hose.
