Preparing for first use
Mount the coil spring
 Insert the clip of the coil spring

as far as it will go into the recess
of the soldering station that is provided for this purpose (see foldout
page).
Insert / replace the soldering tip
CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS!
f Never heat the soldering iron n without soldering tips t.
 The soldering tip may only be removed with the device switched off and
with the soldering tip cooled down.
 The soldering tip has a screw thread and can therefore be replaced
quickly and easily on the soldering iron.
 To remove, turn the soldering tip anti-clockwise.
 To secure, turn the soldering tip clockwise.
First use
Switching on / off and setting the temperature
Switch on and set the temperature
Connect the plug into a suitable mains socket and press the ON / OFF
switch
r into the position “I“. Turn the temperature regulator q and set the
desired temperature.
