  If your PASECO heater won't light, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the fuel tank isn't empty by filling it with 1-K kerosene. If there's water in the kerosene, drain the tank, replace the wick assembly, and refill with 1-K kerosene. A faulty igniter plug might be the issue; try replacing the batteries or the igniter plug itself, and check for any broken or disconnected wires. Lastly, ensure the igniter plug contacts the top of the wick by lowering the wick using the adjuster knob.

Why does my PASECO WKH-2310 Heater produce smoke or odor?

  If your PASECO heater is producing smoke or odor, it could be due to several reasons. If the flame is too high, lower it to the desired 13mm using the wick adjuster knob. The heater might be in an air draft, so try moving it. Check if the burner is level; rotate it from side to side until it seats properly over the wick. Carbon or tar buildup on the wick can also cause this issue; perform the "Carbon Removal / Dry Burning" procedure, and replace the wick if needed. Finally, contaminated kerosene could be the culprit; drain the tank, replace the wick assembly, and refill with 1-K kerosene.

  If the flame on your PASECO heater flickers or dies, it could be due to water present in the kerosene. In this case, drain the tank, remove the wick assembly, replace the wick, and reinstall the wick assembly. Then, fill the tank with 1-K kerosene. Another cause might be carbon or tar buildup on the wick. Try performing the "Carbon Removal / Dry Burning" procedure, and replace the wick if necessary.
