Do not exceed the maximum input voltage of 15 volts DC. The Outlet could be
damaged.
The Mobile Power Outlet is for 12-volt battery systems only. A 6-volt battery system
will not provide adequate input voltage and a 24-volt battery system will damage the Outlet.
Determining Battery Capacity and Operating Time
600 (example of total wattage) ÷ 120 (AC volts) = 5 amps
operation.
There is no accurate conversion formula for converting CCA (cold cranking amps)
into battery amp-hours. There are too many variations between battery manufacturers to
have a standard formula. To determine the amp-hours for your battery, contact the battery
manufacturer.
Positioning of Mobile Power Outlet
If installed in a vehicle, it is recommended that the Outlet be shock-mounted using
a rubber isolation pad between the Outlet and the base.
Do not install the Outlet on a vertical surface where the cooling fan is facing up or
down.
FIRE HAZARDS

Do not place the Outlet near ammable materials or in any location that may accumulate
ammable fumes or gases such as the battery compartment of your vehicle or engine
compartment of your boat.
• Do not expose the Outlet to extreme heat or ames. The surrounding air temperature
should be between 14°F and 104°F (-10°C and 40°C). Do not place the Outlet on or near a
heating vent or any equipment which is generating heat above room temperature. Do not
place the Outlet in direct sunlight.
ELECTROCUTION HAZARD
Do not operate the Outlet if it is wet. Do not allow water, moisture or other liquids to come in
contact with the Outlet, the device being operated or the power source.
