of 7Vrms. Using the voltage meter with real virtual value measures the output AC
voltage. Micro-potentiometer RP3 is used to calibrate output voltage to7±0.02
Vrms.
3.8.2 Calibration of offset of channel A Set the attenuation of channel A to be
00dB the amplitude to be 0V the offset to be 0V to measure the output DC
voltage. Use micro- potentiometer RP7 to calibrate the zero point to 0V±30mV. Set
the offset to be 10V to measure the output DC voltage. Use micro- potentiometer
RP2 to calibrate the output voltage to 10±0.1V.
3.8.3 Calibration of amplitude of channel B Select the function of “Frequency
of channel B”. The waveform of channel B uses sine with the frequency of 1kHz and
the amplitude of 7Vrms, using the voltage meter with real virtual value measures the
output AC voltage. Micro-potentiometer RP7 is used to calibrate output voltage to
7.07±0.07Vrms.
Chapter 4 Introduction of Optional Components
In the present chapter, other optional components except for standard are introduced.
Frequency counter
Power amplifier
4.1 Frequency counter
If user selects frequency counter, a frequency counter function board will be supplied in the
package, whose input end will be connected to the socket of “Input of exterior measuring” on the
back panel. The usage of the present optional component will be described in 3.6 in detail.
4.2 Power amplifier:
If user selects power amplifier, a power amplifier board will be supplied in the package. It
is an independent component of the generator, whose input end will be connected to the socket
of “Power amplifier input” on the back panel and whose output end will be connected to the
socket of “Double power amplifier input” on the back panel. Using a testing cable wire to
connect the input signal with the end of “Power amplifier input” and then double amplified
signal can be obtained at the end of “Double power amplifier input” on the back panel. The
input signal can be output A, output B or output TTL of the present generator. It can also be the
signal from other instrument.
