IMPORTANT NOTE: Unless where
specied dierently, lower anchors (UAS)
may be used for a child whose weight is less
than 18 kg (40 lbs). However most vehicle
lower anchors can withstand much greater
forces. Please, check your vehicle owner’s
manual or contact the vehicle manufacturer
in order to determine what the weight limit
is for the use of lower anchors. When the
weight of the child is beyond these limits, the
vehicle seatbelt must be used to install the
child restraint properly and securely.
