resolution, slower frame rate). Select under
the lighting environment for the
camera location. For indoor use select „Indoor“ (mains power
frequency 50 Hz for Europe, 60 Hz for USA) and for outdoor use
„Outdoor“.
To use thecamera withWiFi connectionto theWiFi
router without network cable connection, , select “Manage WiFi
network”, select the WLAN router required and enter the password of
the router before disconnecting the network cable. After disconnecting
the network cable there will be a few minutes delay until the the WiFi
connection between thecamera andWiFi routeris establishedand the
greenconnectionLED[5]illuminates.ResarttheApp.
Select„Off“fornoautomaticrecording,
„Low“ for lowsensitivityor „High“ forhigher sensitivityof themotion
detection(seechapter12).
Select “Set Email”, enter the necessary data for
the Email address (refer to Email settings / SSL from the provider;

The SSL encryption protocol that is required to send emails
supported by some providers. If necessary, set up a free email
account,e.g.withGoogleMail(gmail).
Ifyour "Sender's Email"is aGoogleaccount, it maybe necessaryto
activate access for "less secureapps" under "Security" in the email
addresssettings.
After inserting a micro SD card it must be
formatted. Note that formatting deletes all stored data on the card.
Select “Format SDCard” and confirm with “OK”. To activate the ring
storage function (when the card is full the oldest data will be
overwritten),enteratickby“OverwriteSDCard”.
Any new software will be available under
www.indexa.de store this onto the microSD card from the camera.
When using LAN connection (camera is connected via network cable
witjh the WiFi router) select “Update firmware” and the camera will
automatically reboot.

Ensure that the camera is connected to the WiFi router – the green

When using WiFiconnection the furtherthe distance betweencamera and
WiFirouterthe slowerthepicturetransmission.
In order to connect with the camera via internet, the WiFi router must be
connectedtotheinternet.
For alocal WiFiconnection from the smartphone / tableta connection of
theWiFirouterwiththeinternetisnotnecessary.
A successful App connection is indicated by a flashing green connection
LED[5].
Uptothreeuserscanaccessthecameraconcurrently.
The delay and the picture rate in the transmission is dependent on the
qualityoftheconnections.
As with all tablets / smartphones, considerable costs can arise from
internetconnection.Asuitableflatratecontractisrecommended.
Open the „OMGuard“ App. In the top left corner the word „Connected“
[21]willsoonappearand the last viewed image from theprevious session
(NOT liveimage) is shown [25]. If the App is not able toconnect with the
camera „Disconnected“ will be shown. In this case tap „update“ [28] to
refreshthecameraconnection.
If the device password has been changed, „Wrong Password“ will be
displayed. In this case tap „Operation“ [27] followed by „Settings“ [22]
and enter the valid password in the „Password“ [43] field, confirm with
„Save“[48]and„Yes“or„OK“.
