INTERVAL
SHOOTING
This
mode
lets
you
capture
the
subject
at
inter¬
vals
of
3
or
60
minutes,
mak¬
ing
it
ideal
to
record
a
se¬
quence
of
events
over
a
period
of
time
-
the
blossoming
of
a
flower,
for
instance.
Once
you
set
this
mode,
it
automatically
takes
pictures
for
^u
unattended.
It
is
ideal
for
observational
pho¬
tography
of
animals,
insects
or
plants,
etc.

Depress
the
drive
button
until
the
('ST
)
or
(!£S
)
symbol
appears
on
the
LCD
panel.
This
mode
allows
you
to
shoot
with
an
in¬
terval
of
3
minutes
{
'
S'
)
or
60
minutes
2.
Depress
the
shutter
release
button
fully;
the
first
frame
will
be
exposed
3
seconds
later.
Then
the
rest
of
the
film
will
be
auto¬
matically
exposed
according
to
the
interval
time
selected.
Notes;
Use
of
a
tripod
is
recommended
for
best
re¬
sults.

The
focus
will
be
locked
at
the
first
frame,
and
the
self-timer
lamp
starts
blinking
3
seconds
before
the
shutter
is
released.
When
in
the
Interval
Shooting
mode,
the
interval
shooting
symbol
mark
(
'S’
)
or
(
eo
)
blinks
on
the
LCD
panel
and
the
re¬
maining
time
of
the
interval
is
also
dis¬
played.

To
cancel
the
Interval
Shooting
mode
after
it
has
been
activated,
depress
the
mam
switch.
In
this
instance,
the
power
is
not
switched
off.
The
exposure
counter
indication
appears
on
the
LCD
panel
when
the
shutter
release
button
is
depressed
halfway.
