BULB, BULB-SYNC SHOOTING
Bulb Mode [® BO
Purpose
The shutter re¬
mains open as
long as the shut¬
ter release button
is held down. This mode is useful for long ex¬
posures required for shooting fireworks and
night scenes, for example.
How to Set
Depress the mode button until [ ® BO appears
on the LCD panel.
Note:
The camera should be mounted on a tripod so
that the camera will be steady.
Bulb-Sync
Mode L V B ]
Purpose
This mode lets
you use the flash
in addition to the
Bulb mode, so you can take a portrait photo¬
graph with a night scene in the background, for
example.
Bulb mode, approx. 3 sec. (ISO 100)
How to Set
Deprees the mode button until [ V B ] appears
on the LCD panel.
Notes:
• Make sure you’re within the flash effective
range even when the Bulb-Sync Mode is in
used. See page 15.
• The camera should be mounted on a tripod
so that the camera will be steady.
