GREEN/RED
LAMPS
When
you
press
the
shutter
release
button
halfway,
the
lamps
O
and/or
flight
up
or
blink
as
shown
above.

Green
lamp:
When
the
subject
is
in
focus,
it
lights
up
to
indicate
that
you
can
take
pictures;
when
the
subject
is
not
In
focus,
it
will
blink,
indicating
that
you
cannot
take
pictures.

Red
lamp:
When
the
flash
is
ready
to
discharge,
it
will
light
up.
When
the
flash
is
being
charged,
it
will
blink.
Notes:
If
the
subject
is
too
close,
the
green
lamp
blinks.
Adjust
the
camera-to-subject
distance
so
that
the
green
lamp
lights
up,
then
release
the
shutter.
If
the
subject
is
even
closer,
the
green
tamp
may
light
up.
5.
ORDINARY
PHOTOGRAPHY
When
the
power
is
switched
on
by
pressing
the
main
switch,
the
camera
automatically
selects
the
Auto
and
Single-Frame
Shooting
modes
and
the
LCD
panel
indication
appears
as
shown
above.
These
modes
are
used
for
taking
ordinary
pictures.
The
built-
in
flash
will
discharge
automatically
when
the
subject
is
poorly
illuminated
or
backlit.
When
the
LCD
panel
displayed
Is
other
than
the
one
as
shown
above,
which
indicates
the
other
modes
are
set,
switching
power
OFF
and
then
ON
restores
the
Auto
and
Single-Frame
Shooting
modes.
*
When
the
built-in
flash
automatically
discharges,
the
shutter
speed
ranges
from
approx.
1/40th
sec.
[wide-angle!
to
approx.
1/55th
sec.
[telephoto]
[when
IS0100
film
is
used).
So
be
very
careful
to
hold
the
camera
steady
to
eliminate
the
possibility
of
fuzzy
pictures
due
to
camera
movement
while
the
shutter
Is
open.
