used

pictures.
When
the
macro
symbol
(^)
appears
on
the
LCD
panel
you
can
take
macro
pictures.
When
shooting
a
subject
about
0.5-0.8
meter
(1.6-2.6
ft)
away,
compose
the
shot
within
this
macro
frame.

MACRO
PICTURES
Notes
In
macro
photography,
the
autofocus
frame
is
not
in
the
center
of
the
viewfinder.
So
use
the
^ocus-
lock
technique
described
in
"Focus-lock
shooting
on
page
17
when
taking
macro
pictures.
The
green
lamp
blinks
when
the
distance
is
closer
than
0.5m,
but
may
light
up
when
the
camera-to-
subject
distance
is
even
shorter.
