  If your Performax Welding Accessories auto-darkening filter isn't darkening or is flickering, try these steps: * Make sure the adjustment knob is set to the "5-9/9-13" position. * Clean or replace the front cover lens if it's dirty. * Wipe the photo sensors clean with a soft, lint-free cloth. * If the welding current is too low, select the slow position on the filter and ensure the weld view is unobstructed. * Try increasing the sensitivity setting. * Replace the two lithium batteries.
