Keep the water level up. The pump requires at least one inch of water to function correctly and prevent damage.
Disassemble and clean with soap and water every two to four weeks. Many parts are dishwasher safe for convenience.
Replace carbon filter every 2-4 weeks and foam filter every 1-2 months for optimal water purification and flow.
Clean pump parts (faceplate, stator, impeller) with soap and warm water, then reassemble and rinse fountain components.
Insert pump into foam filter, attach suction cups to bowl base, feed cord through the tube, and secure with silicone cap.
Rinse carbon filter, insert into housing, attach housing to pump, place tower, and connect the power adapter.
Place fountain, fill bowl with water leaving space, ensure hands/cord are dry, then plug into an outlet.
If your pet is hesitant, try leaving the fountain unplugged until they are comfortable drinking from it.
