Also, ensure the boundary wire isn't too close to the house, as the signal can transmit through walls. Finally, verify that the boundary wires are twisted from the boundary to the fence transmitter.

  If the power light is on, the loop indicator light is off, and the fence transmitter loop alarm is sounding for your PetSafe Pet Care Product, ensure both ends of the boundary wire are securely plugged into the boundary wire terminals with 1.3 cm (1/2 in) of exposed copper wire. Perform the 'Short Loop Test' to determine if the fence transmitter needs replacement or if the boundary wire is broken. If the transmitter functions correctly, there's likely a break in your boundary wire.
