Disengaging

mechanism
Before you
start
winding

bobbin,
disengage
the
sewing
mechanism.
Hold
the
balance
wheel steady
and
turn
the
stop
motion
knob
toward you.
After
bobbin
winding,
tighten
the
knob
again.
