To
change
the
length
of
the
stitches
proceed
as
follows:
Turn
the
selector
so that
the
number
for
the
required
stitch
length
is
at
setting
mark
A.
The
numbers
indicate
the
stitch
lengths
in
mm.
The
lower
the
number,
the shorter
the stitch.
Sewing
backwards*:
To sew
backwards,
push
the
reversing
button
fully
in
and
hold
it
there
until
the
machine
has
made
the
number
of
stitches
you need.
When
you
let
go
of
the
button
the
machine
will
sew
forwards
again:

Reverse
sewing
is
very
useful
as
a
means
of
strengthening
or
securing
a
seam.
