Stitch

is
the
basic
straight
stitch.
The
stitch
length
can
be
increased
up
to 6
mm
if
required.
It
is
easier to
do
some
sewing
jobs
by
changing
the
needle
position,
e.g.
top-
stitching
a collar
or
sewing
in
a
zipper.
You
can
select
up
to
15
different
needle
positions
(see
page
16).
Please
ensure
that
the
needle
is
at
its
highest
position
when
adjusting
the
needle
position.
Zigzag
stitch
In
addition
to overlock
stitching,
zigzag
stitch
E,
stitch
width 5
,
is
also
suitable
for
overcasting
various
materials.
In
this
case,
the
material
should
only
be
positioned
halfway
under
the
sewing
toot.
When
overcasting
the
edge,
make
sure
the
needle
goes
into
the
material
and
over
the
edge
alternately.
The
width

overcasting
can
be
reducn

overcasting

sewing,
