Step 11
To ensure adequate battery cooling, we
recommend opening up an air exit from
the battery bay into the duct.
Step 12
Using a large round file or Permagrit tool
as shown here, continue to open up the air
exit.
Step 13
An exit hole of approximately 30mm
diameter will ensure adequate cooling air
is drawn over the battery during high load
conditions.
Step 14
To allow cooling air in, we recommend
making two entry holes in the front of the
fuselage as shown.
Step 15
Make the second hole on the other side of
the fuselage in the same position.
