Breaking-In Period
The breaking-in of the disc brake will take some time. After it is broken in,
the braking force will be increased. During the breaking-in period, the brake
should not be used with excessive force as it will cause permanent damage
to the brake and brake pad. The correct operation of the brake is to ride
normally with moderate friction between brake pad and brake disc.
Replace Brake Fluid
Brake fluid should be replaced every 2 to 3 years or if brake lever starts to
feel spongy. Use Dot 3 brake fluid ONLY.
The brake parts should not be filled with oil as this can cause brake failure.
