Switching o your appliance
Iftheapplianceneedstobeswitchedoforanextendedperiodthefollowingstepsshouldbetakenprevent
mould on the appliance.
1. Remove all food.
2. Remove the power plug from the mains socket.
3. Clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
4. Ensure that all the doors are wedged open slightly to allow air to circulate.

The appliance must not be connected to the mains during cleaning. There is a risk of electric shock! Turn the
applianceoanddisconnectthepowercableplugfromtheelectricoutletbeforecleaning.

• Donotusethinners,carcleaningagents,Clorox,ethericoils,abrasivecleaningagentsororganicsolvents
suchasbenzeneforcleaning.Theycoulddamagethesurfaceoftheapplianceandcausere.
• TURNTHEAPPLIANCEOFFANDDISCONNECTTHEPOWERCABLEPLUGFROMTHEELECTRICOUTLET
BEFORE PERFORMING MAINTENANCE.
• DONOTCLEANTHEAPPLIANCEUSINGMETALOBJECTS,STEAMCLEANERS,ETHERICOILS,ORGANIC
SOLVENTS OR ABRASIVE CLEANING AGENTS.
• DONOTUSESHARPOBJECTSTOREMOVEFROSTFROMTHEAPPLIANCE.USEAPLASTICSCRAPER.
Whenleavingthecoolingapplianceemptyforalongperiodoftime,itmustbeturnedo,defrosted,
cleaned, dried and its door must be kept open to prevent mold formation inside the appliance.
Warning!
Do not use sharp objects to remove frost from the inside of the freezer. Only after the inside of the appliance
is completely dry should the appliance be turned on again and reconnected to the electrical outlet.
