OVERVIEW BASIC FUNCTIONS WITH BATTERY MANAGEMENT
The tank- & battery monitor TBM shows the capacity, load and discharging currents and the remaining time for
the service battery and the voltages of your starter battery (if existing also the bow battery) and the levels of
your tanks (3 or 4).
The TBM shows the voltages of the service- and the starter battery. The capacity of the service battery is very
well readable by the height of the bar.
without bow battery: with bow battery:
By pressing the button “V/A” the display changes between the voltage and the current (discharging currents
have a minus prefix). By pressing the button “Ah/t” the display changes between the capacity and the remaining
time. While charging the remaining time time shows 99,9 h.
If an alarm is activated by low voltage or low capacity you can acknowledge it by pressing an arbitrarily push
button.
By pressing the push button under the tank symbol the display changes to the tank monitor.
Depending on the type of your yacht there are 2 fresh water and 1 or 2 diesel tanks:
Water ports. Water stb. Diesel Water ports. Water stb. Diesel ports. Diesel Stb.
The tank level is shown in percentage only.
By pressing the right push button again the display changes to the battery monitor.
Otherwise the displays changes automatically back to the battery monitor after 15s..
To change the setup of the TBM you have to go to the SETUP menu (see chapt. 6.1 / page 11).
The setup button is the third button from the left and normally locked. By pressing for 5 s. you can unlock the
SETUP menu. This is shown by the readable SETUP sign. To avoid inadvertent manipulation of the setup you
can lock the menu by pressing this button again for 5 s..
