10.5. Ambilight
Turn Ambilight On or Off
Turn on Ambilight
Press AMBILIGHT to turn on, or you can turn on by
selecting Settings > Display &
Sound > Ambilight > Ambilight style > Enable.
To switch off Ambilight:
1 - Press AMBILIGHT.
2 - Slide on Enable option to close the Ambilight.
3 - Press (left) to go back one step or press Back to
close the menu.
Ambilight Style
Follow Video
You can set Ambilight to follow the video or the audio
dynamics of a display program. Alternatively, you can set
Ambilight to show a preset color style or you can switch
Ambilight off.
If you select Follow Video, you can select one of the
styles that follow the dynamics of the picture on
your display screen.
To set the Ambilight Style:
1 - Press AMBILIGHT.
2 - Select Follow Video and press OK.
3 - Select the style you want and press OK.
4 - Press (left) to go back one step or press Back to
close the menu.
The available Follow Video styles are:
• Standard - Ideal for day to day display watching
• Natural - Follows the picture or sound as truthful as
possible
• Sports - Ideal for sports program
• Vivid - Ideal for daylight conditions
• Game - Ideal for gaming
Follow Audio
You can set Ambilight to follow the video or the audio
dynamics of a display program. Alternatively, you can set
Ambilight to show a preset color style or you can switch
Ambilight off.
If you select Follow Audio, you can select one of the
styles that follow the dynamics of the sound.
To set the Ambilight Style:
1 - Press AMBILIGHT.
2 - Select Follow Audio and press OK.
3 - Select the style you want and press OK.
4 - Press (left) to go back one step or press Back to
close the menu.
The available Follow Audio styles are:
• Lumina - Ideal for watching music video
• Disco - Ideal for listening to loud retro music
• Rhythm - Ideal for listening to rhythmic music
Follow Color
You can set Ambilight to follow the video or the audio
dynamics of a display program. Alternatively, you can set
Ambilight to show a preset color style or you can switch
Ambilight off.
If you select Follow color, you can select one of the
preset color styles.
To set the Ambilight Style:
1 - Press AMBILIGHT.
2 - Select Follow color and press OK.
3 - Select the style you want and press OK.
4 - Press (left) to go back one step or press Back to
close the menu.
The available Follow color styles are:
• Hot lava - static Red color
• Deep water - static Blue color
• Fresh nature - static Green color
• Warm white - static Warm White color
• Cool white - static Cool White color
• Custom color - Static color of your choice. To set the
color for Ambilight static light, go
to Settings > Display & Sound > Ambilight > Custom
color and pick a color you like.
Follow App
Follow App setting is available when you control
Ambilight with Philips TV Remote app.
Personal Color
Custom color
Settings > Display & Sound > Ambilight > Personal
color.
To set the color for Ambilight static light of your choice.
You can pick a color you like from the color palette. This
setting is only available when Ambilight style is set to
Follow color and then Personal color is selected.
