O Insert the installation CD into the
PC’s CD ROM (or DVDROM)
drive
> The installation program will start
automatically
O Follow instructions on the screen
Choose your language

By default,the language of your
operating system will be choosen,
but you have 10 seconds if you
want to select another one.
O Click on the required language
> The next screen will be displayed
automatically

If for some reason the installation
does not start automatically:
O Click on Windows START and
then RUN
O Type explorer and navigate to the
CD ROM (or DVDROM) drive
O Double-click on Setup.exe

> The next screen will be displayed
automatically

Follow instructions on the screen
Connect power adapter

O Connect the supplied power
adapter to the 12V=== 1A port on
the router
O Connect the power plug to
the electricity supply socket
> Power light will turn on
Connect the modem to the router

O If your computer is already
connected via Ethernet,then
disconnect this cable from your
computer
O Connect this Ethernet cable to
the WAN port of the CAW7740N
> WAN light will turn on
Connect the router to the PC

O Take the Ethernet cable supplied
in the box
O Connect this Ethernet cable to
LAN 1 port on the CAW7740N
O Connect the other side of the
Ethernet cable to your computer
> LAN 1 light will turn on
O Then click on Continue
> A progress bar screen will be
displayed

Summary

Install Wireless Router

Insert Installation CD

Insert the installation CD into the PC's CD ROM drive to initiate the automatic installation program.

Choose Installation Language

Select your preferred language for the installation process within a 10-second window.

Select Router Model

Click on the image of the CAW7740N Wireless Router to proceed to the next setup screen.

Connect Network Components

Connect Power Adapter

Connect the power adapter to the router and the electricity socket; the power light will illuminate.

Connect Modem to Router

Disconnect existing Ethernet cable from PC and connect the modem to the router's WAN port.

Connect Router to Computer

Connect the router's LAN 1 port to your computer using the provided Ethernet cable.

Complete Setup and Secure Network

Enter Internet Service Provider Settings

Fill in the required fields with your ISP information to save settings and connect to the internet.

Confirm Internet Connectivity

Verify that your computer is connected to the internet after the settings have been saved.

Secure Wireless Network

Secure your WiFi network by automatically generating an encryption key and network name (SSID).

Enjoy Wireless Freedom

Open Internet Browser

Access an internet browser after the installation is completed.

Access Web Address

Enter a web address in the browser and click GO to access the internet.
