Supply

Batteries

Insert four R20, UM1 or D-cell batteries. Remove if unused for long periods.

Mains Power

Connect to mains. Check local voltage and set selector if available. Disconnect by pulling plug.

Radio Reception

Power and Volume Control

Turn radio on/off with Power button. Adjust sound level using the Volume control.

Earphone Connection

Connect a 3.5 mm earphone to the Earphone socket. Loudspeakers will be muted.

Wave Band Selection

Use the AM/FM selector to choose the desired wave range.

Tuning and Fine Tuning

Tune to stations using the Tuning knob. Use Fine Tuning for Short Wave.

Aerial Operation

Extend and position telescopic aerial for FM/SW. Use built-in aerial for AM/MW/LW.
