The NBP Numeric Pane
6-4 EarlyVue VS30 Instructions for Use
A pulse rate derived from the NBP measurement is displayed in the Pulse numeric pane
if Pulse Source is set to NBP, or if Pulse Source is set to Auto and there is no SpO

measurement available. For details, see Chapter 10, “Monitoring Pulse Rate.”
Below the NBP numeric pane are buttons to manually start an NBP and, in Interval or

monitoring modes are described in the following table. The buttons change depending
on the monitoring mode and whether QuickNBP has been enabled by your system
administrator. For additional information, see “NBP Measurement Methods” on page 6-9
and “Manually Starting an NBP Measurement” on page 6-10.
