Monitoring Pulse Rate
The EarlyVue VS30 monitor calculates and displays a pulse rate value, which can be
derived from either an SpO
2
or NBP measurement.
The Pulse Numeric Pane
The following illustration shows the components of the Pulse numeric pane:
Changing Pulse Settings
Use the Pulse menu to change:
Pulse source
Pulse tone volume
Pulse alarm audio on or off
Pulse alarm limits
When changing settings, make sure you follow the policies of your healthcare facility.
To open the Pulse menu, touch the Pulse numeric pane. The Pulse menu opens,
displaying the current settings.
